ABOUT
Jamie Jaye Fletcher (b.1994) is an artist based in San Francisco. Her work, a combination of digital and analog photography, explores identity, selfhood and the experience of feeling. Addressing themes of the surveyor and the surveyed, power and fear, gender and performance, intimacy and desire, Fletcher’s work does not seek to define reality, but arose introspection into personal perceptions, behaviors and beliefs.
Most recently, Fletcher was selected to participate in the De Young Open 2023. She is a member of Norton Factory Studios in Oakland and received a BFA in photography from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her commercial work has been published in Vogue, Food & Wine and Modern Luxury.
